In general I like this article very much.  Thanks for posting it.

1. The point about feeding fruit separately because of fermentation is new to me and seems plausible, although the canine digestive tract is so short, I wonder if there's enough time for fermentation to take place.

2. She doesn't mention possible allergies to eggs and dairy

3. I disagree with her point about not feeding pork.  I feed cubed pork roast at least once a week.  I think it has to be human grade, though, and I freeze it for at least 48 hours (usually a couple of weeks) before thawing and serving.

4.  She omitted coconut oil from her list of Essential Fatty Acids.  It is the best source, in my mind.  Fish oils require further supplementation with Vitamin E as they deplete it.  Oils based on grains can trigger allergic reactions.

5.  Fasting - for pugs???  My noggin couldn't take the noise.

I agree with you as well. I thought it was well written except as you say the few things that are not there.
as for #5, if you are fasting for 12 hrs it shouldn't be too too bad! Pugman and Bubba get fed every 12 hrs and up until feeding time at the Okay Pug Corral, it is for the most part quiet Wink

as for #1 fermentation!?!? I thought it really strange too! I usually add peeled diced green apple, diced cranberries, peeled cubed papaya and sometimes peeled cubed mango to the mix depending on what we can find to put into the veggies; of course not all in the same mix but  one or two of the above.
I've never noticed any fermentation happening with the boys Smiley
