No, he only got two and one of those pulled out due to his health issues. But the one remaining was a Jim Dandy and he's now living in St. Kitt's with Roxy's Mom and family.

Well, it hasn’t even been 24 hours yet, but we are madly in love with Pippin. He is such a polite, well mannered and gentle little pup.
After Blanche left yesterday I wanted to keep him occupied to keep his mind off of the transition. I filled up our baby pool in the backyard for them, and he was so thrilled! They both played for a good half hour jumping in and out of the pool and doing some pug-tonas around the backyard. I could tell right off of the bat he is a water boy with no fear at all of the pool. Roxy was delighted to have a water playmate, and it really showed how she was playing with him.
After some swimming, I was pretty exhausted as it was a long day for me going on a rough sleep from the night before. We went indoors and watched TV together as we all cuddled. Pip was acting as if he knew me all along. They both cuddled on my stomach and had a snoring contest.
My husband arrived from work after our nap, and Pippin had yet to meet him at that point. As soon as he entered the door Pip greeted him by some excited barks then could not keep his tongue off of him! He must have been like a salt lick or something, because Pippin just loved him. They played for a while and gained a real liking for one another. My husband was so excited that Pippin blended in so well with us at this point, it had only been a few hours since his arrival but he was acting so well!
In the evening after dinner time, we decided Pip was settled enough to go for a short drive with us and a walk along a local beach and pier. He was so well behaved in the car, and I think he taught Roxy a few lessons! As soon as we arrived at the beach he pulled as hard as he could to get to the water. He and Roxy played around in it like little kids. After the water party, we had a nice walk along the pier and he impressed us with his leash skills. He also loved all of the attention we were getting from the passers by. He passed out on the ride home, and as soon as we got indoors. So, it turned out to be a successful first outing. I was hesitant to do and outdoor activity such as this on the first day, but he did amazing and had a ton of puggy energy to burn.
Bedtime was OK, he woke up a few times and wandered around the bedroom, but it wasn’t as bad as what I had expected. I am most surprised that we got through the first night with both of them sleeping in their dog beds! I think we were successful since I put the beds side-by-side right beside me on the floor. I slept with my one arm dangling off the bed so they had some comfort. He has been used to sleeping in a human bed thus far, so I was very impressed that this transition happened on the first night. Perhaps because his lovely lady Rox was right beside him was the reason he did so well. Who knows, but we were happy.
Ok, enough with my blabbering. I was able to catch a few short minutes to write this out as they cuddle beside me on the couch this morning. I will take some pictures this weekend and keep you all updated as he meets some of Roxy’s playmates and perhaps a trip to our dog park.

YAY!
Thanks Krysta. I was hoping that it all went well. I knew it would, but you also can't help worrying. He really is a very good boy. Tell Dan to get used to the licking. Pip's a BIG licker.
I'm thrilled that the first 18 hours have gone so well and I imagine it will just get better. I'm surprised, but delighted that he did the dog bed thing overnight with few problems. Good Boy, Pip!

Three cheers for Pippin! What a lovely recounting of Pippin's transition to his forever family. Roxy is a generous and sweet older sister and his new Mom and Dad have made him feel right at home. Pippin you've obviously hit the jackpot, lucky boy. And your foster Mom, she gave you roots and wings so that you have the health and security to embrace a new life with your forever. Another happy, happy ending!

Sounds like it is going great! He is a lovely boy and sweet as can be. Roxy couldn't have gotten a better fur brother and she sounds like a great match for him.
