As many others have attested, there is nothing more special than a senior pug. We have only adopted seniors and usually foster seniors or special needs dogs. There is a downside, though...
We made it through April this year; in April 2008 sweet Charlie Bear went to the Bridge and in April 2009 wonderful Betty joined him ( we often think what an amazing couple they make). We don't think that our darling Winston is going to be with us for much longer however; we got the news the last day of April 2010. He has had what we believe to be a brain tumor for a few months now and we are treating it an unobtrusively as we can to keep him proud and pain free. We found out yesterday it has spread.
He is still comfortable and happy. He was our first pug and such a special boy.
