I've not alot of experience with prayers- but I am gonna give it a go and send positive thoughts her way. I was so moved by the story of betty's visit to her owner. what a beautiful thing to do for her...

She's making remarkable progress. Seems to now be awake and oriented. Finding the trach annoying, but she is able to focus now and was able to sit up and even dangle her feet over the edge of the bed. Pretty damn miraculous considering she was considered to be dying two or three weeks ago (I've lost track of time....)

She's out of the hospital and at home receiving in-home nursing care. A remarkable outcome altogether!

Again, I am just getting caught up and want to send my best to this remarkable woman!
It is nice to hear that Roxanne has rallied and is doing much better.
Pugsley, Bubba and I send our healing wishes her way!

When unwavering will, loving human energy abound, and a calling to relieve the suffering of those vulnerable, come together, what seems beyond possibility, becomes very possible. Very best wishes for continued healing to Roxane and love to her very dear Betsy.
Those registered nurses in ICU in the hopsital where Roxane was, deserve tremendous commendation for their understanding and courage in supporting Betty to visit her Mom at a time when it may have been the thing that tipped the balance toward life. Three cheers for those registered nurses for choosing love over infection control! Being a nurse myself, I know what it took to make that happen and I hold those nurses in very high esteem. I wish that there was a way of letting them know.

My friend is an ICU nurse here in St.Catharines, I was telling her this story. She said they too have allowed well behaved doggies in to the ICU. She said "sometimes you just don't see visitors going into the room" I think they are amazing realizing the possible healing power and or comfort the fur babies can bring.

This is wonderful news.
I also applaud the nurses in the ICO who allowed her precious baby to visit her. As a nurse I too understand how important it is to have those you love most around you when you need them!
