Thinking of Roxane today and wondering how she is doing. Surviving the acute stage of a catastrophic health event is a miraculous feat. But then the journey of recovery begins and that can take unfathomable stamina and perseverance! I looked on the PugSavers site but couldn't find anything recent. does anyone know how she's doing? Sending her "will boosting" thoughts for her continued journey toward her state of highest good.

Roxane has been doing physical therapy all week and believes she is strong enough to look after Betty again.  So Rebecca just dropped Betty off at her home and when she left, Betty (who was never much of a snuggler) was curled up next to Roxane's lap, clearly glad to be reunited.

Thanks Hilary. That's heartwarming to think of nonsnuggler Betty cuddling up to her Momma. I guess Betty understands the miracle too but I wonder if she understands that she was probably a central character in the miracle.

Taking care of Betty will bring Roxane along and give her reason to push on even when she may not feel like it. Great news!

The name Pug Savers may have taken on a new significance!
