Not sure we're able to attend the Oct. 31 Pugoween since it falls on Halloween, but we plan to go to the Oct. 24, Mississauga event and hope to see everyone there. Would Caesar be going to Pugoween or any of the other Pugalug adoptees or fosters?

Deb:
There's no way to answer that question.  It will all depend on if foster parents can make it and if the dog is able.  If Ceasar isn't adopted then maybe he will come, but his foster folks live out of town and it's not always possible for our foster dogs to come to events when their foster folks live outside the GTA.
Generally we try hard to get the fosters to events, but it just isn't always possible.  For example, Maisie likely won't be at any events.  Given her immuno-suppressive medication, the vet felt that her only real risk out in the world is being around puppies who either aren't vaccinated, aren't yet fully vaccinated or have only been recently vaccinated.  Since I can't guarantee that puppies like that won't be at a Pugalug, I can't bring her.
Aiden's in Sudbury.  Sebastian lives outside of the GTA and his foster mom has small children.  Huey is also East of Toronto.
It just depends on the foster family's time and ability as well as the health of the foster dog.  Just as you need to plan to be at an event and sometimes things come up, same with us.  If we can make it with our fosters, we usually do, but I can't say this far in advance of an event who will or won't be coming.

We plan to go and will be happy to see whom ever may be there, including people. Curious if there will be more events next year held at the Mississauga location?

I don't know.  that's up to our events coordinator and she doesn't post on this forum.  It depends on planning, what's available when and what we can staff.  While we'd love to have a ton of events, we have to have volunteers to staff those events, help set up, take down and clean, etc.  It's very labour intensive and much depends on attendance in the past as to how we plan for the future.

When we know what is going to happen, we send it to Mark to post.  So if you don't see it on the website, then either the plans aren't confirmed yet or we have other events happening sooner that need our attention.

Just glad to see the events that are currently posted and plan to be at them all this time.
