glad to see Dave is doing well Smiley

Hopefully there is no lingering effects!

Pugsley was snapped at when he was around
7 yrs old. The australian mix gashed him just
under the eye. The gash was small but it was pretty  upsetting
for him and after that he would shy from long snouted dogs Sad

I am glad he is home safe with you.  Sending positive healing vibes to you Super Dave.  I hope he is not going to be afraid now of other dogs.  Poor little man. Sad
Hope the same, he didn't deserve such a thing to happen to him, maybe try a different vet.

Pugs and dogs in general are very resilient. It is amazing what they can endure and bounce back. Just read some of the rescue stories, under "happy tails".
Dave and Pugsley have so much fun together. What a perfect match! Amanda, most people would be envious of your thick, long grass. Mine is a constant struggle and I am thrilled if it reaches a point of needing to be mowed!
