DONOR: BURK'S FALLS VILLAGE QUILT GROUP
IN REMEMBRANCE OF THEIR DEAR FRIEND CAROL SMITH
This donation is in remembrance of Carol Smith, valued friend and member of the Burk’s Falls Village Quilt Group. Carol was a gifted artisan who generously shared her love of quilting, and was considered our quilting guru. We will miss her sense of humour especially when telling stories about the antics of her much loved pugs, ‘The Girls’, as well as her generosity sharing her quilting expertise. Cherished memories of Carol will always be with us.

DIMES FROM AN ANGEL FUNDRAISER
IN LOVING MEMORY OF BRITTANY ANNE MESZAROS
There have been so many amazing people beside us through this tragedy but I really want to thank especially for this fundraiser Lindsey Kuresh and Josh McKay because they have helped with everything...putting them together and helping me on the days I just cant do it. my sister Amber Meszaros for taking care of everything else so I can do this for Brittany. My boyfriend Chad Ell for being by my side every step of the way and pushing to fight through the grief to do this and make a difference. My sister was honestly the most amazing beautiful person inside and out...always giving. We called her the light of the family and she was stolen from us in the worst possible way and the only way I have gotten through this is when I started finding dimes, everyday, in the weirdest places. I was told it's a sign from someone on the other side trying to get your attention and to let you know they are with you. So one night I just decided to start amongst our close family and friends "Dimes from an Angel" for everyone to keep any dimes they find and we would donate them to charity just like she would have wanted. My sister loved our family dog Harley - a pug. They were best friends and he just passed away a couple years ago and it broke her heart...so I looked up pug rescue centers and found you guys. The event we did yesterday...we went downtown and fed the homeless and walked and collected dimes we found...some family members of course donated extra but just going to do this for her and seeing the outpouring of love has made it just a touch easier for our family after losing our light
