Current Volunteer Positions
 

Board Members Needed

Pugalug Pug Rescue is looking for 3 board members for our board of directors.  We meet monthly, online. Interested people should have a basic understanding of how rescues work and have some administrative skills.

We are currently in need of:

Secretary:

• Prepares agenda for each meeting

• Takes minutes or checks the minutes created by an online app.

• Sends minutes and agenda out to each board member in advance of the meeting.

• Coordinates with board chairperson/vice chair as needed.

 

Volunteer Coordinator:

• Oversees volunteer recruitment for events

• Ensures that people interested in other volunteer jobs (such as fostering) get directed to the correct person

• Supervises volunteers at events.  These may be Pugalug events or general dog show events like Woofstock.

• Supervises Raffle/Auction volunteer in coordination with Event coordinator and Fundraising coordinator

• Ensures that volunteers meet the requirements for the job 

 

Member at Large:

• This is a general board position.

• Attend and participate in online monthly meetings

• Assist in activities that may arise from board business.​
