COSMO - HAPPY TAIL

Cosmo is a very playful affectionate puppy. After a couple days here, he seemed to realize that we were all right and he has settled in like he has always been here. The puppy in him has been a bit of a readjustment for us after being with senior pugs for last few years. He has gotten used to the comings and goings of the various family members, at first not knowing what to make of it, but now takes it in stride. My son’s red lab and Cosmo are best friends. The lab is very gentle with the wrestling; he seems aware of size difference but gives and takes just enough so it is fun for both. Cosmo experienced the leash-free area in the local park for the first time and started running and playing, instantly making friends (he likes to bark at children though). After a while he ran over to me, put his front paws on me with wide wild eyes, panting as if to say “This is the best place ever!”, then ran off to play some more. He has to be with us all the time. He’s like my shadow. I hope with time he feels like he can be by himself more. Regardless, he is so sweet and we are grateful that we could adopt him.
