Curious Milou’s Foster Adventures!
Oh, the adventures of Curious Milou! This curious, persistent, and fun-loving pug is settling into his foster home and making sure there is never a dull moment. Every day brings something new to investigate—whether it’s the backyard, a squeaky toy, a mysterious corner of the house, or, most importantly, the possibility of finding a treat!
Like any good little explorer, Milou is a creature of habit and loves his routine. Having previously lived in a French-speaking home, he’s now busy learning a whole new collection of English commands. He’s also learning that when his people leave, they really do come back—and he can settle down after a few minutes of wondering where they went.
Milou has even conquered the stairs, one of the many exciting discoveries of house life. He’s loving having a backyard to explore and more room to roam.
Our curious explorer also had his first vet appointment, which he handled like a champ! He has finished his ear drops and antibiotics and is now enjoying a sensitive-skin diet. Some weight loss appears to be helping his breathing and joints too.
Next on Milou’s adventure list: neutering, hernia repair, and dental. Until then, he’ll be busy investigating, learning, playing, and—of course—persistently searching for snacks.

Welcome Milou!
Meet Milou, a charming 4-year-old pug with a lot of personality! After a long journey, this spirited boy is officially settling into foster care. He’s spent his first days recharging with plenty of water and some well-deserved rest. Affectionately dubbed "Mr. Mischief" by his foster family, Milou has already made himself right at home, exploring every nook and cranny, sniffing out the best treats, and claiming a sweet sleeping spot on the sofa.
Milou loves a good game of tug, enjoys chewing on bones, and is always up for a short walk followed by some quality time relaxing in the cool grass. He's curious, sweet, and full of exuberant energy that's already won his foster family over. He's getting to know his foster home's resident dog too, taking things at his own pace as they settle in together.
Milou will be heading in for a veterinary check-up this week, to make sure he's happy and healthy as he continues settling into foster care.
