FOSTER UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 1, 2026
Tiny has had quite the eventful week! 🐾 A few nights ago, she gave her foster family a little scare when she yelped after her back left leg was touched, and by morning she was feeling extra sensitive all over. ❤️🩹 Luckily, her wonderful vet squeezed her in right away! While there was no obvious injury, she’s being treated for a minor muscle strain with anti-inflammatories, pain relief, and lots of cozy rest. 🩺✨ The best news? She’s already bouncing right back and has been her happy, playful self over the last couple of days! 🎉🐶
Before her little hiccup, Tiny was absolutely thriving…getting right into the groove of harness and leash walks and discovering a deep love for the zoomies! 💨🐕 She’s also turned into a certified toy and chew enthusiast... and maybe a cute little hoarder, stashing all her favorite goodies away so she doesn't have to share with Ellie! 🧸🦴😂

Meet Tiny 🐾
Tiny is a sweet 5-year-old fawn pug who has recently arrived at Pugalug and is beginning to discover what life has in store for her.
Tiny came into rescue after her owner noticed blood in her urine and wanted to make sure Tiny got the veterinary care she needed. Her first vet visit went very well, and she has been diagnosed with a urinary tract infection. She has started antibiotics and already took her first dose like a champ! 💊 Her bloodwork and fecal testing are also being completed as part of her initial veterinary assessment, and there may be a dental in her future. Pugalug will make sure Tiny receives the medical care she needs as she settles into her new life.
Tiny is a gentle girl who can be a little hesitant when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, she is very sweet and affectionate. She has already enjoyed meeting her foster family's daughters and clearly appreciates a good fuss! 🥰 She is inquisitive about her surroundings and has been busy investigating every inch of her new home.
There is still plenty for Tiny to learn. She is working on her housetraining and becoming comfortable wearing a harness and going for walks 🦮. Her foster family is taking things slowly and allowing her the time she needs to adjust to all of the changes in her life.
Tiny is also a very nosy little pug! She loves getting right up close to investigate whatever is happening around her, has discovered that licking things is an excellent way to gather information 👅, and apparently believes that joining you in the shower is perfectly normal pug behavior! 🚿
Tiny has had a lot of changes in a very short time, but she is already showing us what a loving and curious pug she is. With patience, medical care, and the opportunity to continue learning about the world, we know Tiny has a wonderful future ahead of her. 💕
