NORMAN
Male
DOB: JANUARY 15, 2025

STATUS: IN FOSTER CARE

FOSTER UPDATE - NOVEMBER 4, 2025

Norman is thriving in his foster home and continues to charm everyone he meets! This friendly, social boy recently attended a pug meet-up and had a blast mingling with people and pups alike.🐾💛

Norm is an athletic little guy. So much so that he surprised his foster family by showing off his superpower: jumping right over their dog gate! (They’ve since upgraded the gate and gave him a superhero costume for Halloween to match his talents 🦸‍♂️🎃).

His vet checkup went great, with good results on his blood work and fecal test, and he’s getting up to date on his vaccinations. Norman is also doing wonderfully with nail trims (as long as treats are involved, of course!) and continues to improve on his leash manners and trail walks.

He’s even starting to signal when he needs to go outside by standing at the door — smart boy!

We’re so proud of Norman and how well he’s settling in. 💚

FOSTER UPDATE - OCTOBER 3, 2025

🐾 Norman Update! 🐾

Norman has been settling in so well with his foster family! He’s a happy, playful guy who loves everyone, humans, dogs, and especially his foster sister 🐶💞. He even got to meet her little cousin, a 4-month-old Cockapoo and the two had a blast together!

This energetic boy loves fetch 🎾, sticks 🌿, and toys of all kinds. He’s learning new routines quickly, having fewer accidents in the house, and sleeping soundly through the night in the big dog bed beside Rosie 😴💤.

Norman also had a vet visit this week for his vaccines and tests — and of course, he charmed all the staff ❤️. He’s getting used to walking on leash with a harness (a hand-me-down from his foster family’s previous rescue pups!) and is taking it all in stride.

Way to go, Norman! 🌟

INTRODUCTION - SEPTEMBER 21, 2025

Introducing Norman!

Norman is an approximately 8-month-old male brindle pug who recently came into Pugalug’s care. He was surrendered through no fault of his own.  It was a heartbreaking decision for his family, who clearly loved him very much but could no longer provide for his needs.
Since arriving in foster care, Norman has shown himself to be a sweet, cuddly boy who loves attention and playtime. He enjoys belly rubs and snuggling up on the couch with his foster mom. 🛋️🐾 At night, he sleeps in his crate with his favorite blanket and stuffed unicorn 🦄, and he’s already letting his foster family know when he needs to go outside. He’s also made fast friends with the resident pug, and the two of them have been zooming around the yard together and having a blast playing. 🐶💨
Norman is still very much a puppy — full of energy, curious, and eager to learn. His foster mom has discovered that he has fleas, so he’ll be heading to the vet right away for treatment, as well as a check-up and some vaccinations. 🩺✨
We’re so glad Norman is safe and settling in, and we look forward to sharing more about him as he continues his journey in foster care. 💕

424 pugs rescued since 2005.
